It has arrived. After a long journey, the donated football kit from Central Switzerland has reached Palawan, an island group in the Philippines.
When Pascal Lötscher, president of FC Zugersee and familiar with the region, asked local clubs in the canton of Zug for football equipment before the pandemic, he had no idea that a global pandemic would hold the whole project up.
Thanks to the energetic support of Markus Bichsel and the Kasa company, more than 300 kilograms of boots, shirts, shorts, socks and balls have now arrived safely in the coastal city of Puerto Princesa.
