On Saturday, August 15, 2026, the big FC Zugersee family came together to celebrate the end of a successful 2025/26 season and look forward to the upcoming 2026/27 campaign.
successful 2025/26 season and kick off the upcoming 2026/27 campaign with great excitement. Numerous members, supporters, and their families accepted the board's invitation and enjoyed a thoroughly successful summer day right by the Zugersee at the Brüggli spot.
Cooling Off and Catering from the Beach Bar
The weather presented itself at its stiflingly hot peak. Due to high temperatures and drought conditions, an official fire ban was in place; however, nobody had to go hungry: we sourced our grilled meals directly from the local "Brüggli" beach snack bar! The fine food was complemented by a great selection of salads, pizzas, and baguettes contributed by many of our members. Culinarically, we seamlessly built on last year’s proven concept and enjoyed the meal together to the fullest. Even a brief storm accompanied by rain showers could not dampen the great atmosphere—the FC Zugersee family simply pulled together a little closer and kept their spirits high.
Swimming, Ball Games, and Great Conversations
The heat kept drawing both young and old into the refreshing waters of Lake Zug. Between plenty of swimming and sunbathing, football was certainly not neglected: everyone enjoyed casual kickabouts, juggling, and passing on the grass.
Particularly valuable was the relaxed togetherness away from regular training sessions and match schedules. Attendees took full advantage of the opportunity for great personal chats, sharing anecdotes from the past 2025/26 season, and laying plans for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign.
The board extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants, helpers, and everyone who contributed to the buffet for making this such a wonderful community day. We wish all teams and players a successful, fair, and injury-free start to the new season!
